Charles Ho literally grew up in his family’s Chinese restaurant, and he counts himself lucky that he always knew what he wanted to do with his life and that his passion and profession are one and the same.

As a teenager, Charles first acquired his love for food from his father. After high school, he joined his father’s restaurant business and it was there, Charles said, he was inspired by the remark of a French gastronomist, Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826) that ‘the discovery of a new dish does more for the happiness for mankind than the discovery of a new star’.

With more than 30 years of work experience in the F & B industry specializing in growth strategy, marketing, branding, design and concept development, Charles Ho has worked alongside with senior executives of some of the world’s most successful foodservice and hospitality companies to visualize, plan and implement innovative ideas for leapfrogging the competition.

As a results driven, quality-focused and dedicated professional, Charles has personally led boots-on-the-ground assignments in many Asian region countries for clients ranging from start-ups to multinational companies.

Born with a cool sensory talent for tasting and analysing food, Charles possessed an extensive international knowledge of ingredients, culinary techniques, cuisines and culinary fundamentals.
